Welcome friends to the thrilling origin story of a true artist and comic book enthusiast!
As a kid, our hero always had a passion for drawing. He would sketch out his favorite characters, from He-Men to Star Wars. But it wasn’t until his aunt Ruthie gave him a stack of comics that he discovered his true calling. (blog post about this experience)
The comics were none other than The Avengers, Secret Wars, Spider-Man, and X-Men. And our hero was hooked, he began drawing his favorite Marvel characters. But soon, he started creating his own characters and stories too.
It was on his trusty AppleIIGS that our hero created his first digital art of characters like Spider-Man, Doctor Doom and Wolverine. He honed his skills in college, getting a bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design. But his true passion was always comic book art.
Our hero even owned and ran his own comic book shop in the early 2000s. But he never lost sight of his dream – to create his own comics with his characters.
Now, our hero’s blog RSC Arts showcases all of his original and fan art. He’s a storyteller at heart, with a focus on comic book art. He’s always on the lookout for new artist friends to join him on his creative journey.
